Owner Waiver
You should get the owner of the building where you're hosting the event to sign this waiver. This is what we've been told will work, but please remember we are not lawyers. You'd have to edit this to meet your needs and the legal requirements of your community.
Please read the following Homeowner Waiver carefully and sign. This Release is valid for the duration of the Weatherization Barn-raising held on ___________________.
I, ____________________________________, owner of __________________________________________, hereby on behalf of myself and my heirs, assignees, etc, release any and all claims against and hold harmless the Home Energy Efficiency Team, Inc. and all barn-raising volunteers for any and all personal injury, property damage or any claims of whatever nature and however incurred arising from work performed in the course of this Weatherization Barn-raising. I recognize that the Home Energy Efficiency Team, Inc. is a nonprofit, non-commercial organization interested in promoting environmental benefits such as weatherizing my house and protecting against global warming. In consideration of Home Energy Efficiency Team, Inc. collaborating with me in such non-commercial work to weatherize my house and promote environmental benefits, I am knowingly entering into this release and assuming the risks and liabilities associated with the Weatherization Barn-raising and any related work.

Media Release
I hereby give permission for my photo and/or photos of my house to be used in connection with the activities of the Home Energy Efficiency Team, Inc.’s Weatherization Barn-raising, to be used by it or its agencies in newspaper and magazine articles, the program’s Web page, or on television and other presentations concerning the Home Energy Efficiency Team’s Weatherization Barn-raising.
